Job summary

Specsavers in Glasgow seeks an Optical Assistant to join our in-store team. You will draw on your customer service skills and optical experience to create an outstanding store environment for customers and colleagues.

We offer training through Cert 3/4 qualifications and a supportive team with excellent development opportunities. The role is full-time with weekend work and a competitive starting salary.

Qualifications

• Previous optical experience is essential.
• Interest in pursuing Cert 3/4 qualifications through the employer.
• Strong customer service and teamwork abilities.
• Confident using IT systems in a retail environment.

As an Optical Assistant, you’ll use your passion for the Specsavers brand, products and services alongside your incredible customer service skills, to create an outstanding store environment for both our customers and our team.

Our store

Based in Newlands, our store is around 3 miles south of Glasgow city centre, with excellent road and public transport links making it ideal for commuting. We are based within Morrisons and have free parking available, plus 3 test rooms and all the equipment you'll need to be able to offer the best service to our customers.
