Job summary

Specsavers in Forfar is seeking an Optical Assistant to join our team. You’ll be the friendly face in-store, helping customers with eyewear and services, and supporting dispensing tasks with a passion for the Specsavers brand.

Based in our store in Forfar, around 15 miles north of Dundee, the role involves 40 hours per week with regular weekend work. Previous optical experience and strong customer service are essential. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Previous Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant experience desirable.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable using store IT systems and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting eyewear and services.
• Support dispensing and related optical processes.
• Maintain store standards and operate IT systems as required.

Based in our store in Forfar, around 15 miles north of Dundee with great road and public transport links.
