Job summary

Specsavers in the United Kingdom is seeking an Optical Assistant for our Newton Abbot store. You’ll bring a passion for the Specsavers brand and excel in delivering outstanding customer service while using our store IT systems. There is potential to progress into management with the right support and training.

The role offers up to £12.91 per hour, a bonus scheme, and a structured development path. The store operates around a 40-hour week, with part-time considerations for the right candidate,

Qualifications

• Previous optical experience as an Optical Advisor or Dispensing Assistant is preferred.
• Strong customer service and team-work skills required.
• Comfortable using store IT systems and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in-store and provide friendly, professional service.
• Use store IT systems to process sales, orders and refits.
• Support in driving a positive store environment and potential progression to management.
