Job summary

Specsavers in Chichester is seeking an Optical Assistant to be the friendly face in-store. You’ll help customers, support dispensing tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced optics environment.

The role requires prior optical or customer service experience, and you’ll join a welcoming team at our East Street/Sainsbury’s branches. We offer a competitive salary up to £28,000 per annum, weekend work, a bonus scheme, pension contributions, Specsavers Perks, WeCare, Headspace, eyewear and hearing care

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Experience in optics business.
• Basic knowledge/experience of optical and/or Audiology terminology.

Based in the heart of Chichester, our Specsavers store is located on the bustling East Street, with a second branch inside Sainsbury’s on Westhampnett Road. Both locations have recently been refreshed and offer a modern, welcoming environment for customers and colleagues alike. With excellent public transport links, including Chichester train station just a short walk away and regular bus services to both sites - getting to work is easy and convenient.

• Up to £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)
