Job summary

Vision Express (Reading) is seeking an Apprentice Optical Assistant. In this role you’ll help customers find eyewear, assist with frame adjustments, fittings and basic eye care tasks, supported by your store manager and the apprenticeship team.

You’ll learn how to bring our brand to life and deliver personalized experiences. You’ll gain hands-on experience with NHS paperwork, lens selection, pre-screening tests, and using optical tools.

Qualifications

• Interest in healthcare and retail.
• Ability to learn and work in a team.
• Good communication with customers.

Responsibilities
