Job summary

Newmedica is seeking a Service Engagement Lead for our Shrewsbury clinic. This full-time role (40 hours) involves travel 2–3 days per week to grow referrals, maintain relationships with referrers, and represent the service in the community.

You will work to meet business targets, promote patient choice, and collaborate with Opticians, GPs, LOCs, and other stakeholders while supporting JV partners and the marketing team with local insights.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare environment preferred.
• Ability to influence and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proactive self-starter with strong organisation and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet referral targets across Shropshire and Wales.
• Promote Newmedica services and patient choice within the community.
• Build and maintain relationships with Opticians, GPs, Referral Management Centres and LOCs.
• Act as conduit between JV partners and the marketing team to share local insights.
• Plan and run events (CPD sessions, optical fairs, national seminars) to increase engagement.
