Job summary

Newmedica in Slough is seeking a Service Engagement Lead to drive referrals for the Ophthalmology Joint Venture across North West London and Surrey. You will travel four days a week, building relationships with opticians, GPs, Referral Management Centres, LOCs and community groups to achieve target referral volumes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a healthcare environment, ideally optics or ophthalmology.
• Knowledge of NHS policy landscape and referral routes is advantageous.
• Self-starter with strong communication skills and ability to influence others.
• Friendly, engaging personality and ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel around the OJV area, with flexible hours for events.

Responsibilities

• Deliver referral volumes to meet business targets for the Ophthalmology Joint Venture.
• Actively promote Newmedica services and maintain visibility in the local community with stakeholders.
• Provide insights into local activity and competitor presence to the JV and marketing teams.
• Plan and organise events such as CPD sessions, optical fairs and national seminars.
