Job summary

Newmedica, part of the Specsavers group, is seeking a Bank Clinic Assistant to join our clinic in Nuneaton. You will support both clinical and operational teams, carry out diagnostic tests, manage patient appointments and records, and help patients understand their treatment journey.

As a Bank Clinic Assistant, you will be part of a small, supportive team, ensuring clinics run smoothly and maintaining high standards of patient care and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Experience in a patient-facing role or similar setting.
• Knowledge of eye physiology or a keen willingness to learn.
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Office 365 and comfortable using new systems such as patient records or diagnostic software.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Able to work well in a collaborative team and adapt to changing needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests and assist in the clinic as required.
• Manage patient appointments and maintain accurate records.
• Explain treatment steps to patients to help them understand their care journey.
