DSV – Global transport and logistics is seeking an Administration Specialist for a 12-month fixed-term contract at Mercia Park, Swadlincote. The role focuses on delivering a high-quality customer service and supporting the site administration team to meet delivery targets.

You will work closely with the client’s customer service team, ensuring on-time in-full deliveries and providing first-line support. Experience in logistics operations and a strong IT skillset are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as an administrator in customer service and logistics
• Understanding of warehouse and logistic operations
• Strong IT literacy with Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day running of the contract in a customer service capacity
• Meet the customer’s operational requirements
• Ensure deliveries are made on time in full
• First line support for customer and DSV to proactively handle issues
• Support colleagues across departments to provide enhanced service
• Complete and populate location KPI's and manage customer invoicing processes

Administration Specialist- 12 months Fixed Term Contract

Mercia Park

Mon-Fri 37.5 per week

We are seeking an experienced Administrator to provide a customer focused administration service on selected accounts. The successful applicant will be working directly with the client’s customer service team to achieve delivery targets on orders as per customer requirements. You must be a committed player within the site administration team supporting colleagues within all departments in providing an enhanced service to customers whilst maintaining and promoting DSV best practices. It is essential that you have previous experience of working in a Customer Service role and an understanding of warehouse and logistic operations.

What will you be doing?

• Day to day responsibility for the running of the contract in a customer service capacity
• Meet the customer’s operational requirements
• Ensure deliveries are made on time in full.
• First line support for customer and DSV to ensure that all issues are proactively handled.
• Support colleagues within all departments in providing an enhanced service to customers whilst maintaining and promoting DSV best practices
• Responsible for the completion/population of location KPI's as well as being responsible for Customer invoicing processes.

About You

• Excellent communication skills
• Proven organisation skills and effective time management
• Meticulous attention to detail
• IT Literate in Microsoft Office
• Proficient in MS Excel and reporting
• Problem solving
• Understanding of CargoWrite is desired, however training can be given.
