Job summary

Macphie Ltd. is seeking a Training Coordinator to join the Learning & Development team in Glenbervie, Aberdeenshire. You’ll coordinate and deliver training across manufacturing operations, maintain records, and ensure compliance while working with managers and operators to improve training effectiveness.

The role combines coordination, practical training delivery, and continuous improvement, with some flex to cover different shifts and training needs across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating and delivering training within an operational environment.
• Ability to maintain training records and competency information with accuracy.
• Strong IT skills and comfortable with learning systems and data.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training plans and activities across operational teams.
• Deliver training and support practical, face-to-face and on-the-job learning.
• Support new starter inductions and onboarding.
• Maintain training records, competency matrices and compliance information.
• Monitor training completion and identify gaps in skills or compliance.
• Work with managers and SME to ensure appropriate training for roles.
• Develop training materials, programmes and learning resources.
• Use the 360Learning platform to manage training information.
• Support training around food safety, Health & Safety, quality and new equipment.
• Help develop competency frameworks and assist with assessment and sign-off.
• Coordinate external and internal training requirements and record keeping.
• Produce training reports and highlight gaps and areas needing attention.
• Contribute to audits ensuring training records are audit-ready.
• Help continuously improve how training is delivered.
