Job summary

Macphie, based in Glenbervie, Aberdeenshire, is seeking a Training Coordinator to join the Learning & Development team. The role combines training coordination, practical delivery, administration and continuous improvement across the manufacturing operation.

You will work with colleagues on the site, managing records, competency matrices and compliance while growing your own training capability. A proactive, people‑focused approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating and/or delivering training in an operational setting.
• Ability to explain processes clearly to diverse audiences.
• Experience maintaining training records, matrices or competency data.
• Strong admin skills and comfort with learning systems and data.
• Ability to identify gaps in training/compliance and take action.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate training plans and activities across operations.
• Deliver training and support practical, on-the-job learning.
• Support inductions and onboarding.
• Maintain training records and compliance information.
• Monitor completion, identify gaps, and report on progress.
• Collaborate with managers to ensure relevant training for roles.
• Develop training materials and resources.
• Use learning systems to manage training data and activities.
