Job summary

The Tank Storage Association seeks an Operations Trainer/Assessor to develop, implement and deliver learning, training, assessment and development activities for OPA sites, primarily in Scotland. The role focuses on safety critical tasks, competency assurance and COMAH-regulated site compliance, while coordinating our apprenticeship programme and supporting HR initiatives.

Extensive UK travel is required, including overnight stays; a full clean driving licence is essential for this position,

Qualifications

• Experience delivering learning, training and assessment in high hazard industries is desirable.
• Knowledge of competency-based assessment techniques and regulatory training standards.
• Ability to develop, implement and manage apprenticeship programmes.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and deliver learning, training and assessment activities for OPA sites.
• Coordinate and manage the apprenticeship programme and related activities.
• Support the Competence Assurance Manager with the Competence Management System rollout.
• Travel to UK sites (Scotland focus) with overnight stays and occasional overseas travel.
