Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse is seeking a proactive Branch Leader to manage day-to-day shopfloor operations and lead a dedicated team. You will drive stock control, pricing accuracy, and promotional changes while ensuring excellent customer service.

The role emphasizes safeguarding high standards, safety, and profitability, with a 37.5-hour week and opportunities for development within a well-known UK chain.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop your team to deliver excellent customer service and strong operational performance.
• Oversee day-to-day shopfloor, yard, checkouts and Goods-In areas.
• Manage full stock lifecycle from receipt to replenishment, merchandising and sale.
• Maintain stock availability and integrity, reduce losses and manage damaged/discontinued stock.
• Ensure high shopfloor standards including pricing, planograms and promotions.
• Drive sales and profitability through robust standards and stock control.
• Coach colleagues to build capability and ownership for high standards.
• Support branch management and act as the most senior leader on duty when required.
• Ensure the branch is safe, compliant, well-stocked and welcoming for customers.
• Hours: 37.5 per week.
