Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse in Enfield is seeking a hands-on Branch Lead to drive excellent customer service and robust operational performance. You will oversee shopfloor, yard, checkouts and Goods-In, manage stock lifecycle, ensure availability and pricing accuracy, and coach the team to high standards.

The role emphasizes safety, compliance, and a welcoming store environment, with a 37.5-hour work week and opportunities to develop within a nationwide branch network.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing your team to deliver excellent customer service and strong operational performance.
• Overseeing the day-to-day operation of the shopfloor, external yard, checkouts and Goods-In areas.
• Managing the full stock lifecycle, from accurate receipt through to replenishment, merchandising and sale.
• Maintaining excellent stock availability and integrity, reducing losses and effectively managing damaged, discontinued and out-of-date stock.
• Ensuring high shopfloor standards, including replenishment, accurate pricing, planogram compliance and promotional changes.
• Driving sales and profitability through strong operational standards, stock control and effective team performance.
• Coaching and supporting colleagues to build capability, take ownership and deliver consistently high standards.
• Supporting the wider branch management team and taking responsibility for branch operations when acting as the most senior leader on duty.
• Ensuring the branch remains safe, compliant, well-stocked and welcoming for our customers.
• The working hours for this role are 37.5 per week.
