Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse, United Kingdom, is seeking a proactive branch leader to drive customer service excellence and solid store performance. You will coach a team, oversee shopfloor operations, and ensure best-in-class stock management and merchandising.

You will manage pricing, promotions, and ensure safety and compliance while supporting the wider branch management team as the most senior on duty when required. 37.5 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Leading and developing your team to deliver excellent customer service and strong operational performance.
• Overseeing day-to-day operation of the shopfloor, external yard, checkouts and Goods-In areas.
• Managing the full stock lifecycle, from receipt to replenishment, merchandising and sale.
• Maintaining excellent stock availability and integrity, reducing losses and managing damaged, discontinued stock.
• Ensuring high shopfloor standards, including replenishment, pricing accuracy, planogram compliance and promos.
• Driving sales and profitability through strong operational standards, stock control and team performance.
• Coaching and supporting colleagues to build capability and deliver high standards.
• Assisting the wider branch management team and acting as the most senior leader on duty when required.
• Ensuring the branch remains safe, compliant, well-stocked and welcoming for customers.
