Job summary

Selco Builders Warehouse in the United Kingdom seeks a Branch Leader to drive excellent customer service and robust store operations. You will oversee the shopfloor, yard, checkouts and Goods-In, ensuring stock integrity and effective replenishment.

Lead a capable team, maintain high pricing and merchandising standards, and push sales growth through strong operations. A 37.5-hour week and a welcoming, safe store are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Experience leading retail teams and delivering high service levels.
• Strong stock control and merchandising skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the team to deliver excellent customer service and strong operational performance.
• Oversee shopfloor, external yard, checkouts and Goods-In areas daily.
• Manage full stock lifecycle from receipt to replenishment, merchandising and sale.
• Maintain stock availability and integrity, reduce losses, manage damaged/discontinued stock.
• Ensure high shopfloor standards: pricing, planograms, promotions.
• Drive sales and profitability through stock control and strong standards.
• Coach colleagues to build capability and ownership.
• Support branch management and act as senior on duty when required.
• Ensure the branch is safe, compliant, well-stocked and welcoming for customers.
• Working hours: 37.5 per week.
