Job summary

MAN Commercial Protection Ltd. is seeking an experienced Security Officer or Supervisor for a 6-month fixed-term contract to support the Contract Manager across sites in the Midlands, including the 24-hour Control Room.

The role offers a company car, tablet and mobile phone, with a fully flexible shift pattern to cover 60 hours per week, including weekends and nights. The ideal candidate will have a valid SIA licence, a full UK driving licence, and a clean 5-year work history.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Licence (SG or DS essential, CCTV advantageous).
• Full, clean UK Driving Licence.
• Full checkable 5-year work history.
• Flexibility regarding travel and shifts.
• Be well-presented, reliable, security conscious with good interpersonal skills.
• Strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide reliable support to the Contract Manager across a wide portfolio of sites.
• Write assignment instructions and maintain site paperwork.
• Support HR processes including welfare checks, appraisals and investigations.
• Ensure staffing levels align with contract requirements; manage sickness absence and annual leave.
• Train and develop site teams.
• Maintain positive client and stakeholder relationships.
• Escalate any health & safety or HR issues.

Operations Support Supervisor - 6 months fixed term contract

MAN Commercial Protection have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Security Officer or Supervisor to join us on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent chance for an officer looking to take the next step in their management career. This role requires the successful candidate to support our Contract Manager across his portfolio of sites covering the Midlands area and including our 24-hour Control Room. Company car, tablet and mobile phone provided.

The ideal candidate should have a fully flexible approach to shifts and travel.

Shift Pattern:60 hours per week, 12-hour shifts. Weekend and night work may be required to meet the needs of the business.

Role Responsibility:

• To provide reliable support to the Contract Manager across wide portfolio of sites
• Write assignment instructions and maintain site paperwork
• Support with HR processes including welfare checks, appraisals and investigations.
• Work with Contract Manager to ensure that staffing levels are in line with those contractually required, managing cover for sickness absence and annual leave
• Training and development of site teams
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Ensure any health & safety or HR issues are escalated accordingly

The Ideal Candidate MUST have:
