Job summary

BardWood is seeking an Area Support Officer in Birmingham to cover security across client premises and retail sites. You will work day and night shifts, including weekends, with travel between sites as required.

On completion of 12 weeks, the role transfers to the client with benefits such as SIA license renewal, cycle to work, salary advances, vouchers, private medical and pensions, and more. Join a team dedicated to flexible, reliable security support.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor (DS) licence.
• Must be a driver with access to their own vehicle.
• Must be willing to travel reasonable distances as required by the business.
• 5-year checkable work/career history.
• Physically fit to undertake given tasks.
• Possess the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Provide security support across various client premises and retail sites.
• Carry out regular patrols and maintain a strong security presence.
• Provide cover at different sites as required by the business.
• Monitor access and egress and respond to incidents appropriately.
• Communicate professionally with staff, visitors and clients.
• Complete accurate incident reports and follow ASCONE/SAFER procedures.
• Respond confidently to emergencies and elevate issues when required.
• Travel between sites and support other duties as required.
