Job summary

MAN Commercial Protection Limited is seeking an experienced Relief Security Officer to cover the West Midlands area. Shifts include days, nights and weekends, guaranteed 42 hours per week with a rate of £12.71 per hour (or site rate).

Responsibilities include reception duties, visitor screening, incident reporting and maintaining a high-visibility security presence across the site. Applicants should have a valid SIA DS licence and a full UK driving licence, with CCTV licence advantageous.

Qualifications

• Must have full 5-year checkable work/education history.
• SIA DS Licence is required.
• CCTV Licence is advantageous.
• Full UK Driving Licence is required.

• Reception duties and visitor greeting with proper security procedures.
• Write accurate incident reports promptly and maintain a visible security presence.
• Knowledge of life safety systems and security equipment.
• Check alarms and log information for security events.
• Respond to and manage site incidents and emergencies.
• Patrolling of premises to ensure safety and security.
• Unlock/lock duties and general site access control.
• Handle other reasonable requests as directed.

The duties and responsibilities will include:

• Reception Duties
• Greet visitors and ensure relevant security procedures are carried out.
• Write accurate incident reports in a timely manner and provide a visible high -profile security presence.
• Knowledge of security systems including life safety systems
• Check alarms and log information.
• Respond to and deal with all site incidents and emergencies.
• Patrolling of premises.
• Unlock/lock.
• Any other reasonable requests.

The ideal candidate must have:

• You must be able to work on your own initiative
• Full 5year checkable work/education history
• Valid SIA DS Licence
• CCTV Licence Advantage
• Full UK Driving Licence
