Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Operations Support and Service Supervisor under the HMPPS contract. The role covers operational support across warehouses and services, requiring travel and occasional overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Logistics or similar engagement level experience.
• Experience of managing a team.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• IT skills and working knowledge of Microsoft packages.
• 3 years current UK address history.
• Full UK Driving Licence

Responsibilities

• Provide operational support across warehouses and service locations by covering staff absences, filling gaps, and delivering training.
• Assist Warehouse Managers with onboarding, staff development, and recruitment.
• Support the Regional Operations Manager and Head of Operations with canteen-related issues at DHL and HMP sites, while contributing to project delivery and continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards and assist in the implementation of operational strategies.
• Ensuring all relevant DHL operational documents are completed accurately/timely inclusive of change requests.
• Ensure all delivery queries are reported to Warehouse Manager/Supervisors/Transport Team.
