Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Wellesbourne is seeking an Operations Manager to lead daily operations, ensure safety and policy compliance, and optimize resource planning. The role is full-time, permanent, and features a 9am-5pm schedule on weekdays.

The ideal candidate has prior shift/operations management experience, strong communication skills, and IT proficiency with Microsoft Office. Key duties include reporting, role definition, and process improvements in a manufacturing logistics context.

Qualifications

• Previous Shift Manager / Operations Manager Experience.
• Ability to resolve issues effectively and promptly.
• Strong Communicator.
• Experience within the Manufacturing Logistics Sector would be desirable.
• IT Literate, With Microsoft Office Packages.

Responsibilities

• Communicate H&S and Environmental Policy changes to all levels in a timely manner.
• Ensure KPI reporting structures are in place and align with operations.
• Define OMS Roles & Responsibilities and ramp-up stages.
• Develop TDM aligned with Roles & Responsibilities and team needs.
• Review Monthly Resource Planning comparing real vs. forecast volumes and resources.

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Effective communication of H&S and Environmental Policy changes and Alerts to all levels in a timely manner.


• Ensure the OMS KPI Tree's expected structure of reports is in place, aligning with operational and staff areas that deals with reporting


• Support the definition of OMS Roles & Responsibilities ramp-up, adjusting the implementation stages to your work environment and starting point


• Develop your TDM according to your Roles & Responsibilities and align it with the of TDM your immediate leader and your team, considering the activities that are connected


• Review Monthly Resource Planning comparing real vs. forecast of volumes, volume profile and resources assigned
