DP World Minworth is currently seeking an Operations Support Manager to join our UK Automotive Operations team in the Coleshill area of Birmingham. The Operations Support Manager will be responsible for delivering operational excellence in Business As Usual (BAU) and new business launches, ensuring compliance with company policies, rules, and goals.

How will you contribute:

1. Collaborate with the UK Senior Management Team to set and drive organisational vision and operational strategy.
2. Support operational teams in improving processes and employee productivity, guiding them through recognised Continuous Improvement (CI) programs and tools to meet organisational and local site goals.
3. Assist in the operational launch of new business and process changes, ensuring program objectives are met according to customer and corporate expectations.
4. Ensure accurate and timely completion of company reporting via corporate portals and shop floor team boards.
5. Support the rollout of new customer or corporate initiatives and programs.
6. Monitor and adhere to site Health & Safety standards, including equipment use, while meeting safety, quality, delivery, cost, morale, and environmental objectives.
7. Provide leadership and management direction for all local personnel in line with DP World’s strategic objectives.
8. Advise and train first-line managers and staff on company policies regarding team supervision, customer interaction, and staff relations.
9. Support the analysis, maintenance, and communication of legal and regulatory records.
10. Actively promote lean initiatives such as 5S, standardised work, and people involvement.
11. Develop and improve operational processes.
