phs Greenleaf is seeking an Operations Support Lead in Laleham, Middlesex (TW18 2ST). The role focuses on keeping the depot running smoothly, coordinating installations, stock, and daily operations while maintaining exceptional customer service and safety standards.

You will report to the Depot Operations Manager and support continuous improvement across the team. The position requires hands-on, proactive operations experience with strong organisational and communication skills.

• Manage plant stock, greenhouse operations and yard activities to meet customer needs.
• Support route planning, technician scheduling and daily team briefings to maximise productivity.
• Promote and uphold high health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Act as a key support for depot colleagues and contribute to continuous improvement.

Operations Support Lead

Reporting to the Depot Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in the smooth day-to-day running of the depot, ensuring operational excellence, outstanding customer service, and high standards across all activities. This is a varied, hands-on position where you'll support installation planning, stock management, operational coordination, and team performance to help drive business success.

What you'll be doing

As an Operations Support Lead, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the Depot Operations Manager in delivering outstanding service across the depot operation.
• Coordinating installation schedules, stock movements, deliveries, and operational activities to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Carrying out site audits, quality inspections, and supporting the resolution of customer issues.
• Managing plant stock levels, greenhouse operations, and yard activities to ensure customer requirements are consistently met.
• Supporting route planning, technician scheduling, and daily team briefings to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Promoting and maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Acting as a key point of support for depot colleagues and contributing to continuous operational improvement.

What we're looking for

To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:

• Experience within an operational, logistics, service delivery, facilities management, or field-based environment.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage with customers and colleagues at all levels.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements within an operational setting.
• Experience conducting audits, quality checks, or operational reviews.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and operational management systems.
• The ability to work independently while supporting wider team objectives.
• A flexible approach and willingness to support different areas of the depot operation as business needs require.

Desirable experience

• Experience within interiorscaping, horticulture, landscaping, grounds maintenance, or facilities management environments.
• Telehandler certification or previous experience operating depot equipment.
