phs Greenleaf in Laleham, Middlesex is seeking an Operations Support Lead to help run the depot day-to-day, delivering excellent customer service and coordinating installation planning, stock movements, and team performance.

This hands-on role reports to the Depot Operations Manager and focuses on operational excellence, audits, health and safety, and continuous improvement to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in operational, logistics, service delivery, facilities management, or field-based environments.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to engage with customers and colleagues at all levels.
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach and a commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience.
• Knowledge of health & safety requirements within an operational setting.
• Experience conducting audits, quality checks, or operational reviews.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and operational management systems.
• Ability to work independently while supporting wider team objectives.
• Flexible approach and willingness to support different areas of the depot operation as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Depot Operations Manager in delivering outstanding service across the depot operation.
• Coordinating installation schedules, stock movements, deliveries, and operational activities to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Carrying out site audits, quality inspections, and supporting the resolution of customer issues.
• Managing plant stock levels, greenhouse operations, and yard activities to ensure customer requirements are consistently met.
• Supporting route planning, technician scheduling, and daily team briefings to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Promoting and maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
• Acting as a key point of support for depot colleagues and contributing to continuous operational improvement.
