About this role

This role ensures the safe and efficient throughput of traffic within the various sortation areas, in accordance with work area requirements. It requires a strong work ethic and attention to detail. As a physical job in a busy warehouse hub, you will be active throughout your shift, ensuring every parcel reaches its customer on time through meticulous attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Management & reconciliation of warehouse activities (deliveries, Holdbay, etc.)
2. Efficient management of bulk/return deliveries with C&D and LGV fleet
3. Support bulk collection customer planning
4. Support LGV transport rules & regulations
5. Effective deployment of operational resources according to work area needs
6. Achieve or exceed KPI targets aligned with work area requirements
7. Attend training and personal development courses as scheduled

The ideal candidate will have:

1. A minimum of 1 year experience in a comparable or supervisory role
2. Knowledge of resource management and deployment
3. Excellent communication skills to effectively convey, receive, and implement operational information
