Position: Operations Supervisor

Contract Type: Permanent

Location: Stafford ST16 3EF

Shift: Monday-Friday / 12:00-21:30

We are currently hiring for an Operations Supervisor at our Stafford site, working days, 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Role Overview

This role ensures the safe and efficient throughput of traffic within the various sortation areas, in accordance with work area requirements. It requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Your focus on detail will ensure parcels reach customers on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Management & reconciliation of warehouse activities (deliveries, Holdbay, etc.)
• Efficient management of bulk/return deliveries with C&D and LGV fleet
• Support bulk collection customer planning
• Support LGV transport rules & regulations
• Supervision of Saturday operations and site lockdown
• Effective deployment of operational resources according to work area needs
• Achieving or exceeding KPI targets in the work area

Experience Required

• Minimum of 1 year in a supervisory or similar role
• Knowledge of resource management and deployment
• Excellent communication skills for operational information exchange
• Good IT skills
