RTX is seeking an Associate Director, Operations Site Leader for the Marston Wolverhampton site. You will lead a 550+ person manufacturing operation and translate business strategy into actionable site objectives to drive performance.

You will own safety, quality, delivery, cost and productivity, lead site transformation, and partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance and Programs to enable sustainable growth and capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a large and complex manufacturing or operations organisation.
• Experience delivering measurable results across safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and productivity.
• Experience developing and executing manufacturing or operational strategies.
• Experience leading significant operational transformation, continuous improvement, and/or production growth initiatives.
• Ability to connect operational performance to financial outcomes.
• Ability to lead and influence across multiple functions and organisational levels.
• Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organisation.

Responsabilités

• Provide overall leadership and operational direction for the HS Marston (Wolverhampton) manufacturing site, ensuring strong performance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement.
• Establish and execute the site operating strategy, rhythm, and policies to meet business, customer, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee production operations, including shop floor execution, workforce planning, scheduling, and disruption management.
• Drive operational excellence through cost reduction, productivity improvement, process optimisation, and disciplined problem solving.
• Lead the site’s transformation agenda, improving throughput, capacity, cost per hour, and manufacturing efficiency.
• Ensure achievement of delivery commitments by directing production, scheduling, materials strategies, and resolving constraints across the value stream.
• Partner cross-functionally with Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Program teams to strengthen performance and resolve issues.
• Build, develop, and retain a high-performing operations organisation while fostering an inclusive, accountable, and empowered culture.
• Develop and execute long-term site strategies for capacity, workforce, capital, technology, and infrastructure to enable future growth.
• Represent site operations in strategic reviews, customer engagements, and leadership forums, communicating performance, risks, and resource needs clearly.
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time.
