Aurora Lifesciences is seeking an experienced Site Operations Director to lead a growing UK Medtech manufacturing facility. You will own operations, safety, quality and performance, aligning site goals with corporate strategy while driving growth and scale‑up.

This role requires a strong track record in manufacturing leadership, financial stewardship and cross‑functional collaboration with senior stakeholders in a matrixed environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or operations.
• Experience in a Medtech manufacturing environment is essential.
• Proven ability to scale operations and lead through growth.
• Strong financial acumen and budget ownership.
• Experience working with executive stakeholders in a matrix environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead site operations, safety, quality, and performance to align with corporate objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement and scale-up of manufacturing capacity.
• Establish and own site KPIs across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Manage budgets, CAPEX planning, and cost optimization.
• Develop leadership team and succession planning.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and audit readiness.
