Job summary

NY Highways in Boroughbridge is seeking a Scheduler to coordinate highways maintenance across North Yorkshire. You will plan work programmes, allocate resources, and ensure safety and on-time delivery while working with operations and client stakeholders.

The role requires experience in scheduling within highways or similar environments, a strong health & safety mindset, and proficient use of MS Office tools. A strong customer service approach and problem-solving skills are essential.

• Commitment to Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental principles.
• Understanding of good customer service.
• Systematic and timely decision making, problem solving and change management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook).

Salary: £32,433 - £34,191 per annum

Grade: 5

Hours: (40 hours per week)

Contract: Permanent, Full time

Location: Boroughbridge, North Yorkshire

The Opportunity

As our Scheduler, you'll play a pivotal role in coordinating highways maintenance activities across North Yorkshire. Working closely with operational teams, supervisors and client stakeholders, you'll ensure work programmes are planned effectively, resources are utilised efficiently and services are delivered safely and on time.

What you'll do

• Coordinate and programme highways maintenance activities.
