Job summary

Stewart's Scotland Ltd in Perth, United Kingdom, is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our day-to-day warehouse and supply operations. You will ensure stock accuracy, manage despatch, and coordinate purchasing, packaging and materials planning to keep customer orders moving smoothly.

You will lead a small warehouse team, implement simple processes, work with couriers and co-pack partners, and drive continuous improvement with a practical, results‑driven mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience running day-to-day operations across warehouse, stock control and despatch in an SME.
• Strong stock accuracy improvement experience (cycle counts, root cause, process discipline).
• Comfort owning purchasing admin and supplier chasing to protect service levels.
• Food handling awareness and commitment to hygiene, traceability and safe storage.
• Excellent people leadership skills and practical problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day warehouse and supply operations to ensure stock accuracy and on-time despatch.
• Coordinate purchasing, packaging and materials planning to minimise discrepancies.
• Manage supplier relationships, couriers and co-pack partners.
• Standardise core warehouse processes and SOPs.
• Maintain accurate supplier, item and stock data.
• Identify recurring issues and implement practical improvements.
