We are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to join and strengthen our highly experienced Depot management team.

In this role, you will be a crucial member of the management team overseeing the smooth running of our operation, helping your Depot achieve outstanding service to our customers and meet challenging objectives around Cost, Health & Safety, Security, Productivity, and Transport.

Additionally, you will be accountable for:

• Recruitment, development, and retention of staff, ensuring compliance and Employee Relations processes are followed
• Managing P&L through effective planning and reporting
• Improving overall support to the Operation while focusing on innovative ways of working

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

• Extensive experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution industries
• Ability to run a fast-paced operation, managing and motivating high-performing teams
• Experience monitoring performance, analyzing data, and implementing improvements
• Outstanding communication skills with strategic influence

• Availability to cover any 5 shifts, including weekends, as depots operate year-round
• A full UK driving license is essential
