NurtureCare, based in Nottingham, is seeking an Operational Manager to lead day-to-day service delivery and workforce planning. The role supports the Operational Director and Registered Manager to ensure safe, effective services.

This full-time position (40 hours per week) is office-based with on-call responsibilities and a salary of £28,000 to £35,000 plus on-call retainer payments. A hands-on role focused on growth, quality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and time management abilities.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience coordinating teams or operational activity.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and reporting systems.

Responsibilities

• Support the day-to-day management of community care services.
• Lead recruitment, onboarding and workforce planning.
• Support safeguarding investigations and risk management processes.
• Monitor service quality and governance activity.
• Assist with budget monitoring and on-call retainer administration.
