Job summary

Willing Care Recruitment Limited is seeking a nurse-qualified Operations Manager to lead multi-site nursing and care home services. You will oversee Home Managers, drive quality, compliance and clinical governance across a portfolio of older adult care homes while ensuring residents remain at the heart of decision-making.

The role involves regular travel between homes and areas with significant time spent on-site, maintaining high standards of person-centred care, safeguarding and robust

• Maintain oversight of occupancy, budgets and operational performance
• Collaborate with senior leadership to implement organisational objectives
• Spend regular time within individual homes, be visible to teams
• Promote high standards of person-centred care

This is a senior leadership opportunity for an experienced care home operator who knows how to drive quality, strengthen performance and get the best from Home Managers across multiple services.

We’re looking for a nurse-qualified Operations Manager with proven multi-site experience across nursing or care homes for older adults. You’ll oversee a portfolio of services, supporting Home Managers across quality, compliance, clinical governance, staffing and operational performance, while ensuring residents remain at the centre of decision-making.

This is a highly visible role involving regular travel between different homes and areas, so you’ll need to be comfortable spending significant time within the services you support.

Leading Across the Homes

• Provide operational and clinical oversight across a portfolio of nursing and care homes
• Support, challenge and develop Home Managers to achieve consistently high standards
• Monitor quality, compliance and clinical governance across services
• Support homes with CQC preparation, inspections and improvement plans
• Review performance and identify areas requiring additional support
• Ensure safeguarding and risk management procedures remain robust
• Monitor staffing, recruitment, retention and leadership stability
• Maintain oversight of occupancy, budgets and operational performance
• Work closely with senior leadership to implement organisational objectives
• Spend regular time within individual homes, remaining visible and accessible to leadership teams
• Promote consistently high standards of person-centred older adult and dementia care
