Job summary

Aspion is seeking an Operations Manager for a growing accident management business in Smethwick. You will take responsibility for daily operations and directly manage a team of six across file handling, customer communications and call handling.

You will monitor performance, improve processes and drive efficient case progression, giving the owners more time to focus on strategic growth. The role offers £40,000-£45,000 plus a performance bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience in accident management or motor claims.
• Proven ability to lead a small team.
• Comfortable using data to drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage, support and conduct regular performance reviews with the team.
• Set and monitor targets for new claims, file progression and recoveries.
• Review the quality of incoming claims and determine cases to take on.
• Track operational figures, identify delays or dips in performance and take action.
• Improve processes across customer contact, repairs, file handling and recoveries.
• Provide practical, day-to-day guidance on claims and accident management matters.
• Report on team performance and operational results to the owners.
