We are a growing Cash Logistics company looking for enthusiastic, responsible, and reliable individuals to join our team. We have an opening for a dynamic leader to manage our Branch in Shrewsbury. The Operations Manager reports to the Branch Manager.

Reports To:

The Operations Manager will report to the Branch Manager or Regional Branch Manager.

Position Summary:

The Operations Manager oversees the daily operations of the cash room, vault balances, driver responsibilities, and logistics. They are responsible for customer service, policies, procedures, and safety protocols. The role includes managing staffing, routing, safety, and operational goals, along with developing and implementing policies and procedures under leadership guidance.

Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Demonstrate effective leadership by embodying Empyreal's vision, values, and WOW culture; foster respect, growth, and collaboration among staff; provide coaching and mentorship.
• Maintain and deliver best-in-class customer service.
• Focus on how work is done, not just what work is completed.
• Ensure operational activities meet department standards.
• Set and support goals aligned with Empyreal's objectives.
• Complete daily reporting and auditing.
• Update branch employee contact lists in TEAMS.
• Act as the operational liaison with clients.
• Follow up on functional areas to ensure performance and compliance.
• Prioritize work and schedule to meet service level agreements while controlling overtime and expenses.
• Monitor performance and report to management.
• Manage team staffing, performance, training, and development to retain and motivate staff.
• Assist with operational tasks such as verifying/distributing deposit bags, supporting tellers, and transport services.
• Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and support staff.
• Audit routes, employee timecards, and expense reports bi-monthly.
• Evaluate and recommend process improvements.
• Arrive at the branch by 8 am local time.
• Work 50-55 hours weekly.
• Follow company policies, including credit card and hotel expense policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least three years of related banking or logistics experience.
• Experience leading teams or projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and familiarity with banking systems.
• Ability to operate required equipment and drive delivery routes.
• Strong communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle interruptions.
• Professional demeanor and conflict management skills.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, sit, or drive for extended periods.
• Steel toe shoes and ear protection may be required.
