Job summary

Bostik is seeking an experienced Operations Management Accountant to join our FP&A team and provide financial support across multiple UK and Ireland manufacturing sites. You will analyse performance, deliver timely management information, and partner with Operations and Supply Chain to drive cost efficiency.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex operational data.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Ability to influence stakeholders, build strong working relationships and challenge constructively.
• Strong communication skills with excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Delivering timely and accurate management information to support operational decision-making.
• Producing and analysing weekly production cost, stock variance and PPV reports.
• Investigating performance trends, identifying risks and opportunities, and providing actionable insights.
• Developing a strong understanding of plant product cost variances and fixed cost drivers.
• Supporting month-end close activities, including P&L and balance sheet analysis, commentary, and financial reporting.
• Ensuring accurate inventory valuation, accrual accounting and cost control processes.
• Partnering with Supply Chain, Operations and Shared Services teams to improve performance and financial accuracy.
• Supporting internal controls, compliance requirements and financial governance.
• Contributing to FP&A projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

About the Role
