Job summary

Castle Employment is seeking a Management Accountant in Keighley to support the Head of Finance across financial reporting, performance analysis and strategic decision-making. The role offers exposure beyond month-end and close collaboration with senior leadership to drive financial performance.

You will produce monthly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and KPI reporting, while supporting audits, controls and process improvements within a growing manufacturing business.

Qualifications

• Experience producing management accounts.
• Strong balance sheet reconciliation experience.
• Budgeting and forecasting knowledge.
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within manufacturing, food production, FMCG or similar commercial environment advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Producing monthly management accounts.
• Preparing profit and loss, balance sheet and cashflow reports.
• Delivering detailed variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Managing balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cashflow planning.
• Producing financial and operational KPI reporting.
• Supporting audit and year-end processes.
• Monitoring overhead costs and supporting business performance reviews.
• Providing financial analysis to operational and leadership teams.
• Supporting process improvements and finance best practice.
• Deputising for senior finance leadership when required.

Are you a Management Accountant looking for a role where you can influence business decisions, work closely with senior leadership and develop your career within a successful manufacturing business?

We're recruiting a Management Accountant to join an established and growing organisation in Keighley, supporting the Head of Finance across financial reporting, business performance and strategic decision-making.

This is a varied role offering exposure well beyond month-end reporting. You'll work closely with colleagues across finance, operations and leadership teams, helping to drive financial performance and support future growth.

The Role

About You

We would be interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in a Management Accountant, Finance Manager, Financial Accountant or similar role.

You will ideally have:

• Experience producing management accounts
• Strong balance sheet reconciliation experience
• Budgeting and forecasting knowledge
• Advanced Excel and reporting skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience within manufacturing, food production, FMCG or a similar commercial environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
