West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to drive operational and strategic objectives at Lichfield Hub. The post holder reports to the Senior Operations Manager and must be HCPC Registered Paramedic with NQP and portfolio requirements.

The role involves leading both clinical and non-clinical teams, ensuring service delivery, adherence to SOPs and continuous improvement across the hub. A flexible, proactive approach is essential.

Formación

• Experience in management of operational teams and service delivery.
• Strong leadership and people management capabilities.
• Proven ability to implement standards and drive performance.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders.
• Understanding of emergency services environment and incident response.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and management to operational/non-operational staff to ensure high quality service and KPI achievement.
• Oversee daily management, estates, clinical supervision, medicines management and infection control.
• Promote service developments and alternative care pathways; manage hospital turnarounds with partners.
• Mentor staff and support development plans; participate in clinical competency panels.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs; document decisions and maintain shift logs for accountability.
• Manage scheduling, rostering, and absence management; maintain staff records.
