Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with audit background.
• Proven finance leadership experience with a hands-on approach.
• Strong commercial acumen and operational mindset.
• Able to challenge and influence senior stakeholders with credibility.
• Curious, pragmatic and motivated by building and improving.
• Enjoys evolving and growing a business.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of statutory reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial control.
• Act as a trusted commercial partner to operations on cost control, margin analysis and efficiency.
• Shape and support pricing, tariff and operational decisions.
• Improve financial processes, controls and management information.
• Lead and develop a small finance team.
• Work closely with the Managing Director as part of the senior leadership group.
• Bring financial challenge, clarity and insight to both short-term decisions and long-term strategy.
• Spend time outside the finance office, getting into the operational detail when required.
