Operations Director - E-commerce Fulfilment (3PL)

Birmingham or Dublin

£85,000 – £100,000 + Healthy Bonus

IMPACT EVOLVE have partnered exclusively with ParcelPlanet, a rapidly growing e-commerce fulfilment provider, in the search for a new Operations Director to join their senior leadership team.

This is a rare opportunity to take full operational ownership across two 20,000 sq. ft. fulfilment centres (Birmingham & Dublin) and help shape the next stage of growth.

The Opportunity

As Operations Director, you'll lead site operations, build high-performing teams, and play a critical role in implementing a new WMS. You'll bring structure, process, and strategic thinking to ensure ParcelPlanet remains at the forefront of third-party logistics.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading fulfilment operations across two multi-client sites, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and consistent delivery performance.

• Driving warehouse performance through SOP creation, warehouse flow optimisation, and team development.

• Working closely with the finance team and clients to optimise packaging solutions - balancing cost, sustainability and customer experience.

• Being a key contributor to the WMS implementation project, improving visibility, automation and control.

• Building a culture of accountability, care and continuous improvement, in line with ParcelPlanet’s core values.

• Managing relationships with key clients and carriers, enhancing service levels and delivery outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

• A solid background in e-commerce fulfilment, ideally with multi-site or multi-client experience.

• Demonstrable expertise in B2C and B2B fulfilment.

• Experience in scaling operations, setting KPIs and embedding efficient, data-driven processes.

• Strong leadership skills, you’ll be trusted to inspire, challenge and grow your team.

• Hands-on knowledge of WMS implementation and warehouse tech adoption.

• Packaging insight and an understanding of how to manage it as both a cost centre and a customer experience touchpoint.
