(HB956489) Director of Operations - Division 1

Are you looking for a new challenge or the opportunity to develop yourself in the largest healthcare Trusts in the UK?

We are seeking to appoint a Director of Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership to the Division and deputise for the Managing Director as required.

We are keen to hear from applicants with significant senior management experience who are already currently working within a large setting in the NHS. The post holder will have shared accountability with the Managing Director for the delivery of operational and performance targets, local and national standards, and will lead the transformation of services in line with the Trusts strategic plans.

Currently the Division oversees the full range of clinical support services supporting secondary, tertiary and highly specialised services. You will have specific responsibility for Theatres, Day Surgery and Surgical Admission, Anaesthetics and Pre-Op and Pain Management.

The successful post holder will be expected to work across all the hospital sites within UHB Trust and demonstrate strong capabilities in leading complex and challenging services in uncertain times (75 Theatres / over 100 Critical Care beds / 220+ Consultants).
