Job summary

GXO is recruiting an Operations Development Manager in Bradford to lead the CI, MI, Systems and Planning teams and drive continuous improvement for M&S operations.

The role requires strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and delivery of projects on time, with clear communication of risks and benefits to site teams and customers. A permanent, full-time position with standard hours and flexibility.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience delivering CI initiatives and projects on time.
• Strong communication with senior leadership and customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead Planning, MI, Systems and CI functions to support labour strategy and CI roadmap.
• Coordinate and drive onsite project management with risk minimisation.
• Develop and hold teams accountable for performance and engagement.
• Drive continuous improvement delivering measurable benefits in productivity, service and cost.
• Use data to challenge performance and inform operational decisions.
• Build strong customer and stakeholder relationships and communicate priorities clearly.
• Lead exploration into future tech-based solutions to support CI pipeline.
• Interpret operational, labour and performance data to drive decisions.
• Deliver against operational and financial KPIs with strong customer focus.
• Experience of planning principles in fast-paced food logistics environment.
• Lead teams, deliver change and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management across operational, customer and senior leadership groups.
