Job summary

GXO is seeking a Control Room Team Manager for our M&S Foods site in Bradford. You will lead the Control Room operation, drive order flow, and deliver excellent customer service while developing a high-performing team in a fast-paced logistics environment.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working any 5 from 7, 14:00 to 22:00. Salary up to £34,000 per annum plus 33 days of annual leave, pension, private health options, and access to GXO benefits.

• Experience leading and developing teams within warehouse/logistics environments.
• Strong planning and decision-making under pressure.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems, especially JDA WMS.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Are you an experienced warehouse leader who thrives in a fast-paced operational environment? We are looking for a Control Room Team Manager to join our M&S Foods site in Bradford. You will take ownership of the Control Room operation, ensuring the smooth flow of orders, effective team leadership and excellent customer service. Working closely with operational teams and key stakeholders across the site, you'll play a vital role in driving performance, developing colleagues and ensuring the operation delivers against challenging service and efficiency targets.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Leading, motivating and developing the Control Room team to deliver operational excellence and achieve performance targets
• Managing order flow and prioritisation to ensure customer orders are released and fulfilled in line with transport plans and operational requirements
• Driving a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, efficiency and service levels
• Ensuring compliance with GXO procedures, health & safety standards and operational best practices across the department
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders across Operations, Transport, Planning, Stock, HR and other support functions to effectively manage risks and resolve issues

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Experience leading and developing teams within a warehouse, logistics or distribution environment.
• Strong operational planning and problem-solving skills with the ability to make effective decisions under pressure
• Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ideally JDA, and operational flow management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and build strong working relationship
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and PowerPoint
