Job summary

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting an Operations Coordinator for the Willand area of Devon. The role combines customer service, sales support, purchasing, administration and operational coordination in a varied part-time, permanent position.

They offer £15.00 per hour with a performance-related bonus and full training, plus a company pension and on-site parking. Monday to Friday working hours in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, account management or customer service.
• Confident communicating with customers by phone and email.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience with purchasing, supplier coordination or order processing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional customer support via telephone and email.
• Build strong customer relationships and follow up on enquiries.
• Identify commercial opportunities and support business growth.
• Process customer orders and maintain accurate records.
• Coordinate daily operational and administrative activities.
• Create purchase orders and arrange timely replenishment of stock and consumables.
• Monitor supplier deliveries, lead times and outstanding orders.
• Maintain organised purchasing records and supplier information.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Support stock control and general office administration.
