Job summary

Itchyfeet Recruitment Agency seeks an Operations Control Manager for a role in the Isle of Man. You will establish and monitor a robust control framework, lead a Controls Team, and work with leadership to contain losses and minimise non-financial risk across end-to-end operations.

The candidate should have a First Degree in Audit or Risk Management and 5–7 years in Operations Control with banking product risk exposure. This is a full-time role requiring Isle of Man work eligibility.

Qualifications

• First Degree in Audit or Risk Management.
• 5–7 years of Operations Control experience.
• 8–10 years of banking product experience.
• Strong analytical skills with trend analysis and data interpretation.
• Excellent decision-making and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and implement end-to-end Control frameworks and tools to ensure a complete and accurate reporting environment.
• Account for the optimal functioning of control processes supporting the control framework.
• Proactively monitor, track, and remediate risks by implementing and overseeing KRIs across the Operations area.
• Influence and encourage Operations and business stakeholders to adopt recommended controls.
• Highlight the inter-connectedness of products, systems, and processes and manage upstream and downstream impacts of control failures.
• Gather and analyse relevant data, perform trend analysis, and develop monthly dashboards to track potential risks and trends.
• Share insights and reporting mechanisms within the Operations Control Team and with relevant stakeholders.
