Job summary

Itchyfeet Recruitment Agency client seeks an Investment Risk Officer based in Jersey to support risk and compliance oversight within the Investment Division. The role focuses on ensuring operations meet risk parameters and regulatory requirements of Investment Business and Funds Services licences; relocation or sponsorship are not offered.

You will identify, analyze, and manage investment operation risks, contribute to governance, conduct risk reviews, breaches handling, and assist in continuity

Qualifications

• Diploma in Finance and Accounting required.
• 5–7 years’ experience in financial services, securities industry.
• Strong knowledge of risk management and compliance.
• Experience with securities industry regulations and end-to-end processes.
• Excellent written communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team and develop strategies aligned with company objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain the investment division control framework.
• Manage breaches, incidents, complaints, and action follow-ups.
• Conduct ad-hoc investigations to identify root causes.
• Prepare risk reports and KPIs for governance meetings.
• Perform periodic client suitability reviews and monitor investment mandates.
• Ensure data accuracy and oversee business continuity plans and supplier risk.
