BioLabs at Wellcome Genome Campus in Cambridge, UK is seeking an Operations Lead to manage non-lab operations, on-site marketing, and member services, delivering a premium resident experience. You will oversee onboarding, front desk operations, site communications, events, vendor management, and cross-site process improvements, partnering with the BioLabs network to grow the Cambridge ecosystem.

A Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years in operations or related fields are required, with strong MS Office

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 1–2 years of professional work experience.
• Experience in operations, marketing, communications or customer service a plus.
• Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to attend after-hours events.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 11 kg and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsabilités

• Provide daily operational support and member experience.
• Oversee new member onboarding and integration.
• Manage front desk reception and first point of contact.
• Maintain site databases, directories, and mailing lists.
• Develop site communications, newsletters and social content.
• Produce marketing materials for multiple channels.
• Plan and host internal and external events.
• Support shipping, vendor management, and special projects.
• Collaborate with BioLabs operations across the network.
• Curate café and food service within budget.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
