Our mission

We are building the world’s leading next generation nutrition company. Combining the most advanced personalised nutrition platform, DNA reports and blood testing, to provide tailor-made vitamins and health advice. We want to create a world where an extraordinary life is ordinary, with products and advice that not just make you feel your best, but also help deliver your best.

We’re a fast-paced and dynamic team based in Central London, where we deliver everything from end to end design, marketing and development, right through to supply chain and logistics management.

Since Launching We’ve Already

  • Achieved over £10m in revenue with consistent YoY growth
  • Helped over 1,000,000 people learn more about their health with our industry-leading online nutritional health consultation
  • Launched in retail with our products in over 2,000 stores including Boots, Sainsbury's, Holland & Barrett, Waitrose and Ocado.
  • Attracted investment from some of the UK’s leading seed investors including Samos (backers of Ocado and Charlotte Tilbury) and True (a leading UK consumer investor), as well as Alex Chesterman (Founder of Zoopla, LoveFilm & Cazoo), Simon Duffy (Founder of Bulldog skincare) and the former Global Head of Food and Personal Care at Unilever
  • Created a service that customers love - we've got ourselves a 4.6* (and climbing!) rating on TrustPilot!

About The Role

As we look to continue our strong growth in our direct-to-consumer and retail channels, we are looking for a self-motivated and energetic all-rounder who wants to get involved in the operational aspects of a fast-growing startup. From supply chain management and supporting negotiations with high-profile retailers, to taking the lead on bringing new products to market, this position is hugely varied and will utilise a range of skills to provide significant opportunity for both professional and personal development.

We’re seeking a self-starter who is willing to roll up their sleeves and make a big difference to Vitl as we enter a particularly exciting stage of our growth. We are ideally looking for 1-2 years of professional experience, but would also consider recent graduates who can demonstrate a hunger to learn and develop rapidly.

The Day-to-day Role Will Involve

  • Supply chain management - forecasting, modelling and managing stock requirements across our DTC & retail channels, to ensure we’re always well covered to meet customer needs;
  • Managing supplier relationships - working with our suppliers to get the best possible commercial terms for Vitl, all whilst keeping our supply chain as lean as possible;
  • Retail strategy - working closely with our National Account Manager to develop relationships and negotiate with current & prospective retail customers;
  • Retail order processing - working with our 3PL & retail partners to ensure orders are processed, dispatched and invoiced in a correct and timely manner;
  • Customer Delight - supporting our CS team on some of the more complex logistics queries raised by customers, and acting as a point of escalation for them when needed;
  • Process improvement - working collaboratively with every team across the business to improve a range of processes and reduce friction

Requirements

A bit about you:

  • You are highly numerate, resourceful and proactive with a demonstrable hunger to learn and grow both personally and professionally
  • You have strong Excel / Google Sheets knowledge
  • You take the initiative and value speed in getting things done
  • Exceptional organisational skills to ensure nothing is missed and a keen eye for detail
  • You are comfortable in the face of uncertainty and know that challenges often arise which require flexibility, compromise and creative solutions
  • Keen interest in startups and technology
  • A degree in any discipline from a top tier university with ideally 1-2 years of commercial experience

We want to meet you even more if you have:

  • Supply chain or operations experience
  • Experience using LLMs to improve processes

Benefits

  • Annual base salary of £32-35K, depending on experience
  • Unparalleled learning, surrounded by some of the most passionate and brilliant people in the industry
  • High level of autonomy and support from a highly ambitious and motivated team
  • 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays
  • 2 days social impact leave for public service, voluntary or charitable activities
  • Private healthcare through Vitality and mental health support from Spill
  • Free weekly team lunches, plus regular social events
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
  • £1,000 personal allowance per year for learning and development
