About the role

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Contracts Team is responsible for maintaining contracts with government or commercial bodies acting through the IELTS SELT Consortium (ISC) or as Cambridge University Press and Assessment. As our Operations and Compliance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Contract Lead to manage operational and compliance functions for key IELTS contracts, primarily, the SELT contract with UKVI (Home Office).

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with cross-partner teams and compliance colleagues to raise awareness of contractual requirements.
  • Monitor and report on IELTS incident management, analyse performance data, and develop reports to improve compliance and service standards.
  • Attend operational calls and internal meetings, maintain and review action logs, gather and share information with ISC and CUPA teams, and oversee operational changes to support contractual compliance and reporting.
  • Manage and track detailed activity logs to ensure accuracy, and ensure monthly and quarterly reports are accurate, highlighting key changes and trends for external stakeholder meetings.
  • Ensure contractual compliance through weekly monitoring and reporting to stakeholders, review audit programs, investigate non-compliant centres, and assist in planning and managing the annual UKVI audit, providing necessary information to support the IELTS partnership.
  • Will support the Contract lead to prepare for (and co-chairing) the monthly cross Partner Functional Teams meeting.
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedure documents, and propose, track, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Contracts Team operations and customer service.
