Job Description

The Consumer Duty Compliance Manager will be part of the debt support team and will advise users of the service on areas of debt support. Knowledge of Consumer Duty regulation is essential.

• Implementing and managing compliance policies and procedures in line with consumer protection laws
• Training staff on compliance requirements and procedures
• Conducting regular audits and risk assessments to ensure ongoing compliance
• Acting as the main point of contact for all consumer duty compliance matters
• Keeping up-to-date with changes in consumer protection laws and regulations
• Developing and implementing corrective action plans as needed
• Reporting compliance issues to senior leadership
• Ensuring the organisation meets all other relevant legal and regulatory requirements

The Successful Applicant

The ideal candidate should have:

• A strong understanding of consumer protection laws and regulations
• Experience developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures
• Excellent communication and training skills
• A proactive approach to identifying and mitigating compliance risks
• Experience conducting audits and risk assessments
• Ability to interpret and apply legal and regulatory requirements
• Preferably, a background in debt support management
